Description
Horsetail, also called shavegrass (Equisetum arvense), is a living fossil — a jointed, rush-like plant that has changed little in hundreds of millions of years. It is naturally rich in silica and minerals. In traditional practice it was traditionally used to support healthy hair, skin, and nails, strong bones, and urinary tract health. Simmer it a little longer than most leaves to draw out its mineral character, or use a strong infusion as a hair rinse. Traditional uses reflect historical practice and are not proven clinical effects. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition, consult a qualified healthcare professional before use.
