Description

Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis) is the needle-leaved shrub of South Africa’s Cederberg mountains, oxidised to its famous red colour during processing. The cup is naturally sweet, honeyed, and woody, with no caffeine and very little tannin, so it never turns bitter however long it steeps. Enjoy it straight, with milk like a latte, or iced with citrus. Rooibos is naturally rich in plant antioxidants and has a long traditional history as an everyday family tea in South Africa. Steep 5 to 10 minutes in freshly boiled water.
