Description
Ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) is often called true cinnamon. Its quills are thin, layered, and fragile, with a softer, sweeter, more citrusy aroma than common cassia cinnamon. Simmer a stick in teas, poaching liquids, rice dishes, and warm drinks, or grind it fresh for baking. Cinnamon has traditionally been used to support healthy digestion and balanced blood sugar already within the normal range, alongside its beloved culinary role. Traditional uses reflect historical practice and are not proven clinical effects. Remove sticks before serving.
