Description
Goldenrod (Solidago spp.) lights up fields in late summer with arching plumes of yellow flowers. Despite the folklore, it blooms alongside ragweed rather than causing seasonal sniffles itself. In traditional practice goldenrod was traditionally used to support urinary tract health, healthy fluid balance, and comfort during seasonal changes. The herb is pleasantly aromatic and slightly sweet; infuse it as a tea, alone or with nettle and elderflower. Traditional uses reflect historical practice and are not proven clinical effects. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition, consult a qualified healthcare professional before use.
